I've finally gotten two new pairs glasses (well, technically I have one pair now, the other is being treated with anti-reflect and anti-scratch coatings -- I'll get that one next week). My taste in glasses is getting better with each new pair. I can't wait until LASIK is safe and cheap enough for mainstream use. The glasses companies are seriously colluding in price-fixing. Went to see Hairspray last Saturday. So great. I loved the original and this version is great as well. Both are different enough to be favorites! :3 Divine (in the original version) played Edna Turnblad wonderfully but in my opinion John Travolta played her with even more charm. I picked up the soundtrack on CD a couple days ago and have been listening nonstop to a few of the catchier songs like "Good Morning Baltimore", "I Can Hear the Bells", "(The Legend of) Miss Baltimore Crabs" (Michelle Pfeiffer can friggin' sing AND play an appealing villain!), the so very cute duo between Travolta and Nikki Blonsky "Welcome to the 60's", and the super-upbeat and inspiring "You Can't Stop the Beat".

Okay, I love the kitties, but this is just SCARY! Scary kitty 1 Scary (Satan) kitty 2 I've put in an order for the Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens as well as the matching hood and UV haze reduction filter. I'm gonna need this lens to power photograph and build up my portfolio. Unfortunately a long telephoto lens isn't enough! This new lens also has image stabilization (IS), my telephoto doesn't and thus suffers from the all-too-common camera shake with blurry results. I'm planning on opening my own business, website, and print store (at home). When I generate enough money I can then purchase a Canon ImageproGRAF printer and make super-large gallery-sized prints. :D The many different types of paper for that series of printers is just mind-blowing in beauty. The watercolor paper makes things look so soft and lovely. Like looking into a dreamscape. The canvas paper makes photographs look like they were paintbrushed right on it. And (before or after) that... I can take a much-needed trip somewhere north. I can do this... I know I can. I've wanted to do this for so many many years, and now I can see myself realizing the dream.

There's one tool I should've had on my belt all this time: HTML. So I'm going to begin learning it! I should have done this years ago, but better late than never, right? I've always relied on WYSIWYG applications, hopefully never again! Oh, and Kill Bill vol 1 rocks >.>

Oi, I think I'm sick... Wait, no, I know I am. x.x Thankfully, I don't fear it's strep, due to my heavy nasal activity/blockage, though my throat feels really awful... It did last time I can recall this, as well... Gotta have my parents pick up some more Zicam. x.x That stuff actually does help. Gonna have to be bed-ridden all weekend, nuuuu..... nuu...

I miss my honey so much... :/ It's about to be two years since I visited in June of 2005. This is torture... I miss his face. I miss his smile. I miss his cute mannerisms. I desperately need his hugs again. I'm going to be saving up money like crazy to come back as soon as I can.

Whew.. What a scary night last night turned out to be. The people at the end of the cul de sac had their garage catch fire. Apparently it was their truck that ignited, exploded, and totally ruined the garage in a matter of twenty minutes. The rest of the home apparently has suffered severe smoke damage. Thankfully, it didn't spread to the trees or any other nearby home (we live two houses away), or it really could've been a nightmare. Also thankfully, nobody was injured, which is amazing considering how many people lived, or seemed to live over there... ___________ Wow, the US Postal Service never ceases to randomly amaze me in delivery speed. I ordered a Musician's Friend electronic tuner on Saturday night. Normal shipping for $4.12. It arrived today, from Kansas City, MO. Kick. Ass. Whee! :3 Now I just need to wait for my new violin to arrive.

I hate it when some people only talk to you because they want or need something. Any other time they're happy and content to just leave you alone. I can count about... oh... four of them off the top of my head. What's up with that? F'eh. Die! _____ Getting more work done on my City Nights theme. I'm enjoying my choice of colors, they're soft and beautiful. There is so much to design, though. x.x Gavin's made all kinds (hundreds, maybe?) of little details and functions that I need to pay attention to and shape how they look under City Nights. It's okay though, that it's taking this long. Gavin's still hard at work with his new theme (beautiful stuff :D), and it's best to space this stuff out so that a new release is treasured more than if you crammed them all together.
